Wheelsure ‘Highly Commended’ at Vehicles & Plant Awards

Wheelsure’s innovative wheel nut locking device has been ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Developments in New Technology’ category at the Vehicles & Plant Awards. A certificate was presented to Wheelsure’s Chief Executive Officer Gerhard Dodl by Sue Rothwell, Group Sales Manager for Vehicles and Plant Technology, at the awards event which was held at the National Motorcycle Museum last month.

Judges said: “love it” about the device which uses patented technology in the form of a counter threaded locking cap. Wheelsure now has two products on offer, one suitable for OEM application and a second specifically designed for the retro-fit market. Product development is taking place all the time and a new version of the device will be available early next year.

“We are absolutely delighted to be receiving this commendation” said Dodl, after the event. He added: “within two years of setting up the Wheelsure business, we have been awarded Brake’s Vehicle Safety Invention Award, received this Highly Commended from the Vehicles and Plant Awards and we have just found out that we have been short-listed for the UK Bus Awards in the Technical Development category. I am over the moon.”
